Job Description

Assist Business Unit Heads in the strategy and planning activities of the organization through developing business strategy, and review and monitor business short-term and long-term plan through the project management office. Lead and direct in managing the business risk, cultivating innovation culture in the business, communicating with Group on the status, and identifying or recommending business technology or process enhancement.

  • Lead in structuring the detailed strategic plan of maintaining the existing relationship and pursuing new business collaboration to stay competitive and “up-to-date” in current business trends.
  • Direct feasibility studies and business strategies for product and service improvement, customizing, re-modeling and new product development to stay current with the trends and innovations in the industry.
  • Direct the activities of the business so that it achieves its medium and long-term financial and operating objectives of increased profitability, productivity, and market share as set by the overall corporate business plan and in line with company's values.
  • Lead and direct the creation and development of appropriate business strategies to ensure competitive edge and staying abreast with external and internal developments in the environment of identifying new market segments.
  • Lead and direct the development of the business status to ensure the organization to be one of the best affiliate companies.
  • Lead meetings and negotiations with business heads and representatives of the target businesses to pursue opportunities and protect the organization’s interests.
  • Work closely with stakeholders in expanding the knowledge of the business to gain acceptance with other SBUs by ensuring that all reliable information is disseminated professionally to the Business heads.
  • Participate in key industry organizations to maintain high level of visibility and stature of the company in promoting the mission and values of the organization, internally and externally by keeping up with industry dynamics.
  • Evaluate and review the conduct of research, feasibility studies and business strategies to be able to develop strategies for the improvement, development and customization of products and services.
  • Lead in the research and development activities, analysis and produce recommendations to ensure all business development activities are optimized and aligned with the goals and objectives of the organization
  • Develop processes for embedding innovative and business development thinking among leadership team members through regular reviewing business model which will lead in the increase of business productivity and efficiency.
  • Lead in the New Business strategic planning and market positioning through competitive analyses, customer segment selection and market penetration plans to drive and gain a significant market niche for the company’s new business.
  • Assist the Vice Chairman is business risk management to ensure that the business is operated in manageable risk environment in order to make the business to operate in a smooth condition.

Skills

  • Customer and Personal Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Administration and Management: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, technology or IT system for work improvement, and project management operations.
  • Financial and Accounting: Knowledge of Accounting and Financial principles and procedures.
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Management and MBA will be an added advantage
  • 10 to 15 years in Strategic & Planning related field with 8 years is in Senior Management position experiencing in Business and Product Development in Middle East is an added advantage
