Job Description

The Key Accounts Manager (KAM) will be responsible for promoting and providing sales and clinical support for ALJ Health products at existing and new accounts and create a referral patient flow to the existing accounts.
The KAM would be responsible for driving both, operational and strategic relationship with the top customers to drive performance. The role would be responsible for development and implementation of Customer plans in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders and ensure all round accountability for these accounts. The role also involves working with and providing strategic inputs to brand teams to form an effective channel / brand strategy and driving access of ALJ Health innovative portfolio. The KAM is responsible to achieve the financial objectives.
The KAM will ensure compliance in all activities and take responsibility for accurate and timely submission of all related supporting documents.

  • Responsible for driving performance for the assigned accounts for full ALJ Health portfolio.
  • Build strong business relationships with all stakeholders in the market, including payers, hospitals management, targeted healthcare specialties and sometimes patients with full adherence to regulations.
  • Development and implementation of yearly accounts plans with relevant KPI’s which should be reviewed on a regular basis.
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, and evaluate results.
  • Lead cross functional alignment and support to achieve set objectives for the accounts.
  • Participate and contribute to overall business strategy formulation, planning and budgeting activities.
  • Communicate and share info on regular bases with ALJ Health management.
  • Report on regular basis to Head of ALJ Health the outcomes on the activities at the referral and new accounts.
  • Develop database of contacts and activities at the referral accounts.
  • Work closely with marketing team to develop marketing activities and educational programs.
  • Gather data from various sources and develop into concrete insights, opportunities, and road map enhancements.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in sales of Pharmaceuticals and/or Medical Devices.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in healthcare accounts management.
  • Results Oriented.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective selling skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships & network within multi-specialty teams at hospitals.
  • Demonstrate drive for performance and a business development mindset.
  • Ideally, should have managed big Public Sector accounts and engaged in purchasing / stock management and access of new products.
  • Understanding KSA healthcare system, obligations, environment, processes, etc..
  • Health economics.
