Planning Engineer - Jeddah

- Ability to develop initial baseline schedules with little project information as projects will be developed from concept stage.
-Ability to prepare elegant power point presentations and dash boards to present to higher management.
Ability to participate in strategic planning for the company projects and assist in preparing the necessary presentations with substantiation.
- Assist in the preparation and management of overview and strategic programs, including design, procurement and construction schedules.
- Include all project stages from initiation to completion in the baseline and identify critical milestones accordingly.
- Coordinate and manage the preparation and development of master planning, engineering, procurement, and construction schedules.
- Establish and agree project reporting procedures, prepare and present monthly projects progress and presentation on high level.
- Develop project and program dashboard templates to be used across the program by designer and contractors.
- Review the schedules and related documents from the designers and contractors including monthly reports and analyze the content to ensure compliance with project objectives
- Review schedule trends to identify problem areas and recommend corrective action to management.
- Monitor actual progress against planned in all stages from concept, through Design and construction, identify deviations (progress trends) and suggest possible courses of corrective actions.
- Carry out studies into scheduling, manpower, cash flow whenever required.
- Attend onsite and offsite meetings and visits as required.
- Assist in the evaluation of any claim for time extension or major change to the schedule.
- Other duties as requested from time to time.
- Issue high-level schedule updates as required in elegant power point presentation format
- Develop and monitor program KPI’s and milestones.

Capabilities required:
Proficient in MS project or Primavera.
Professional level in Power Point presentations.

Qualifications:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or construction management field.
Minimum 5 years experience in project management environment or construction field.
