Job Description

  • Reviews purchase orders for completeness and processes requisitions following department policy and procedure.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure proper handling of shipment and documentation from the supplier’s door to WHSE
  • Tracks order acknowledgement, prepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports, and provides visibility of potential interruptions to internal customers.
  • Able to communicate with fellow associates and supervisors to ensure the operations of supplier, service providers, and warehouse are as per the targeted timeframe and assist in any abnormalities to high light to management.
  • Prepare periodic performance reports showing progress against orders, comments on quality, conformance with specifications, as well as areas that require the management attention.
  • Ensures availability of needed material, parts, equipment and tools from local and international suppliers.
  • Receive job requests along with supporting documentation and production plans and follow up with suppliers to ensure services and products are delivered in a timely basis.
  • Report issues and request support from operations management to expedite production.
  • Establish and maintains good relationship with local suppliers and service providers to follow up and resolve discrepancies in invoices with concerned vendors.
  • Executes supplier management policies and processes that ensure competitive cost, service, and quality.
  • Initiate supplier Payment process based on completed and approved job orders.
  • Maintain detailed supplier database and update it as required.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all departments and internal and external stakeholders to promote and maintain the reputation of the Company name while conducting business in an ethical and professional manner to ensure avoidance of actual and potential conflicts of interest. 
  • Manages the arrangement of furniture and equipment for the purpose of providing adequate office environment.
  • Monitors installations of system component parts, office equipment and facility components (e.g. lighting, and ventilating systems, alarms, , security, etc.) for the purpose of providing a safe and workable environment
