Job Description
- Plan, execute and promote advertising campaigns by developing sales tools, promotional plans, and media kits, which help make a sale.
- Develop advertising presentation for new market and prepares & presents an advertising proposal to the client that may include an overview of the advertising medium to be used, sample advertisements, and cost estimates for the project. .
- Developing a strong customer base (Potential, prospects and active customers) and have full hands-on follow up to develop the list and improve the overall sales department revenue.
- Meeting with clients and prospective clients at their places of business or may make telephone sales calls as well—calling prospects, attempting to sell the media firm's advertising space or time, and arranging follow-up appointments with interested prospects.
- Advise clients on new trends in the market and explain how specific types of advertising will help promote the client's products or services most effectively.
- Close follow up and monitoring to the accounts and react to any issues or concerns raised by any of the customers to meet/exceed the targets.
- Analyzing sales statistics and preparing reports about clients’ accounts, keep up to date on industry trends by reading about new and existing products and monitor the sales, prices, and products of the competitors.
- Gathers background information on the client's products, current clients, prospective clients, and the geographic area of the target market.
- Draft & prepare contracts, which specify the cost and the advertising work to be done and may continue to help the client, answering questions or addressing problems the client may have with the proposal.
- Maintain professional ethics and comply with company policies and procedures.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of the industry and market developments and get the updates about competition changes and news.
- Knowledge of Account Management, Incremental Business administration..
- Computer literate and knows how to use advertising machines and equipment usage.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales and marketing
